Mishmish is an ongoing and ever-changing project preserving Palestinian food and cultural traditions in the diaspora.
Founded in 2019, this practice is a reflection of time and space, inspired by remembrance, liminality, and how we move through the world when we’re severed from our ancestral lands.
In exploring these themes, Mishmish has collaborated with a variety of restaurants, farmers, cultural workers, and artists from around the San Francisco Bay Area, New York, London, Barcelona, and beyond.
All recipes + knowledge have been passed down through the elders in her family, and are practiced through various creative mediums.
